Position Overview:

The Construction Safety Site Coordinator ensures safe, compliant work across active construction sites by developing and overseeing safety programs, conducting inspections, mitigating hazards, and leading training. This highly active role involves partnering with management, field personnel, and regulatory agencies to promote a safety-first culture. We seek an energetic, detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, comfortable engaging with crews and navigating varied job site terrain daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.
  • Provide safety training and orientation to all site personnel.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and investigations to identify, mitigate, and report hazards.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and collaborate with site management to address safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain safety records and documentation.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among all workers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction safety or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards is preferred.
  • Ability to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
