Assistant Project Manager

A drug screen, physical, and criminal background check are required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities associated with construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule, updating progress monthly and communicating changes to subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, and field personnel.
  • Lead project pre-planning using the Crossland Heavy pre-planning guide.
  • Develop and maintain the Master Variance to track project costs and ensure accurate coding of subcontractor, supplier, labor, and equipment expenses.
  • Manage project documentation including: contracts, pay requests, change orders, RFIs and ASIs.
  • Coordinate with owners and architects to ensure timely approvals and resolution of issues.
  • Create and manage all subcontracts and purchase orders in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Review shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time and do not delay field progress.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards outlined in project plans and specifications.
