About the Role

Crossland is seeking recent construction graduates for an entry-level Field Engineer position. This role provides hands-on field experience and training designed to develop future Craft Superintendents, Superintendents, and Project Engineers within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and monitor job-site safety.
• Review plans and specifications to understand project scope.
• Perform project layout using total station and GPS.
• Conduct quality control checks, including pre-pour inspections and as-built drawings.
• Track quantities for cost control meetings and pay applications.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and scheduling.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, three-week schedules, timekeeping, and equipment reports.
• Assist with material procurement and jobsite organization.
• Capture daily and weekly photos for documentation purposes.
• Document job-site conditions through photos and video.
• Maintain and protect company tools and equipment.
• Understand each subcontractor’s scope of work.
