About the Role

This position oversees all construction site activities, ensuring a safe, productive environment while keeping projects on schedule and within budget. The Foreman supervises crews and subcontractors, coordinates materials and schedules, and ensures work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Candidates must have verifiable experience as a foreman and additional construction experience. Strong scheduling, cost tracking, and team leadership skills are required. Successful candidates must be highly motivated and pass a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate assistant superintendents, field engineers, craft employees, and subcontractors.
  • Manage daily site operations, set work priorities, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries to prevent delays.
  • Ensure compliance with construction contracts, plans, specifications, and codes.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture, enforce company policies, and conduct regular safety meetings.
  • Track labor productivity, equipment use, and project costs.
  • Maintain daily reports and communicate project updates to the office.
  • Hold regular coordination meetings with subcontractors to manage workflow, safety, manpower, and scheduling.
  • Oversee quality control, inspections, and testing to ensure work meets project requirements.
  • Manage tools, materials, equipment, and site security.
  • Coordinate project closeout, including punch list completion and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and mentor team members.
